Overview

Majority of digital farming application  focuses on leveraging proprietary farming protocols (yield increase, direct seeding, carbon reduction) to generate value for farmers and value chain partners.

Airfarm is the technology layer that enables the development of digital farming infrastructure to connect the farming ecosystem and the wider agriculture value chain.

What Airfarm can offer:

  • Data Capturing: Defining what data needs to be captured throughout the growing season
  • Clear Guidances: The control points system is designed to ensure that farmers will follow the protocol’s instructions
  • B2B Access: Provide Key Account Customers and other B2B clients some access to farming operation.
  • Turn Farming Protocol into Product: enable project managers to monetise and to scale their proprietary Farming Protocols
  • R&D Tool: Accelerate the trial design and execution for MD & FS team
  • Risk Management: The protocol design system and the control points help to manage farmer’s adherence to the farming guidelines. For outcome-based projects, this will significantly reduce frauds and non-compliant risks.
What can be built with Airfarm?

Platforms that have been built with the Airfarm system:

Export-as-a-Service: Offers certification services for farms adhering to specific sustainability or quality protocols, enable agri-outputs to be exported

Outcome-based farming: Provides tailored farming protocols aimed at maximizing yield and productivity.

Carbon Credit Platform: Tracks and verifies carbon reduction practices on farms to generate carbon credits.

Integrated Precision Agriculture: Combines farming protocols, drones, IoT sensors and geospatial data for optimized farm operations.

    • Convert protocols into structured control points.
    • Define crop calendars with activities, timelines, and dependencies.
    • Set grading criteria for control points (e.g., pass/fail or custom scales).
    • Predefined templates for common farming activities (e.g., fertilization, irrigation, pest control).
    • Support for custom protocol creation by agronomists.

    1. Control Points Management
    • Configure control points for different farming stages:
      • Cropping Stage Control Points (linked to biological growth stages).
      • Non-Cropping Stage Control Points (independent activities like training or reporting).
    • Automate deadlines and validation criteria for each control point.
    • Submission of proofs by farmers via text, images, or videos.
    • Real-time monitoring of control point completion.
    • Enable re-submission for failed or incomplete control points.

    1. Farmer and Field Operator Management
    • Farmer profiles:
      • Create and manage personal, farm, and crop profiles.
      • Input farm-specific details like location, size, and crop type.
    • Field Operator roles:
